Just got a brand new 2025 Ridge Crew HVAC for work. Purchased from an out of state dealer due to no local dealers having them. So selling dealer isn’t going to be a ton of help.

I have a 2023 Kawasaki Mule 4010 and have had zero issues so thought the ridge would be similar.

If feels like the brakes are on the whole time you are accelerating. Jerky start and stops. Doesn’t feel like it has any power.

I know it’s supppsed to be a 20 hour break in period. But that first 20 hours is going to be miserable.

Today I lifted the unit and spun the wheels to see if there was brake drag. How easily should the wheels spin? Honestly it sounded like there was some drag but the wheels did spin.

Is this normal? Hard to believe it is.

Any dealer should help you. I bought mine 250 miles from our local dealer which is 40 miles from me. 10 miles 400 yards off the trailer mine had no power, then check engine and then shut down.
Local dealer fixed it over night for me, bring it to your local dealer and if they give you any shit call Kawasaki. Seat belt plugged in? Parking brake released?
Check to see if all the coils are plugged in that's what mine was.
