After looking today here is where the rattle is coming from. There should not be play like this in the shaft coming out of the diff. When we move it like that it replicates the sound inside. Started at around 150 miles. I now have 680 miles and it is getting worse.

I did the same thing. I brought my machine into the dealer, and they wanted to charge me $60.00 for the troubleshooting!!! lol

Check your negative battery terminal. I had problems with my horn not working and the speakers not working. If I turned the key on and off it would eventually work. Checked the battery terminals today and the negative was loose and hand tight. Tighted it up works great now.
