Kawasaki Ridge XR Crew Sound & Heat insulating

Wondering who has made a successful effort to calm the loud decibels and tame the heat inside the cab of a Kawasaki Ridge XR Crew Limited? How did it go, and what did you do? I've ordered Terick carpet and 100 Mil sound deadening material. Plan to line the back wall before installing the carper kit. Any other useful advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
