I installed the AA clutch kit, no more jerky throttle. It is the clutch ramp causing the issue. It has a high spot that it has to climb over on engagement, causing the issue, mine is smooth as silk now.

Mine was the relay at the battery only did it when real cold out Hasn't done it since I keep it in heated garage. When cold the relay wasn't closing and no power coming out of the switch to power the accessories.

They all seem to surge when pulling away if that is what you are talking about

Which setup did you put in the weights? How was the take off? Did it get rid of that jerky take off ? Any difference in the RPM. Any other observations you noticed?

Ordered mine this week probably be a couple weeks getting to Canada will post my findings when installed.

Anyone try the new kit, it is suppose to reduce the RPMS and get rid of the jerky take off. It has adjustable weights for different riding preference also. I watched a video on it and if it even fixes the jerky take off may be worth it.

Just wondering if anyone found the bad squeak that sounds like it is coming from the seat. I know some say it is the seat but i have had this apart a number of times glued rubber everywhere possible to stop it but can't seem to find the squeak. I am starting to believe it isn't the seat now...

Just wondering how you are making out with the touchy jerky throttle. Mine is an XR and the throttle is very annoying especially when bike is cold. It is fine once you get going over say 10 mph or so. But at slow speeds it is very bad ,and hard to keep a steady speed.
