I have a 2024 Kawasaki HVAC Ridge that has had a lot of issues which include Doors popping open, clutch her-key jerky and very slow to engage, tailgate latch falling apart, windshield wiper falling apart, and last but certainly not least the steering rack going out. All these problems happened immediately before I had 50 hours on the unit and the dealership I bought it from gave me a lot of grief slow walking my problems or just not giving me updates and denying anything was wrong. They would keep it for months without touching it and the last time I took it in about the clutch they replaced the belt under warranty and charged me a diagnostic fee of 170 dollars. When I complained they told me they would ask Kawasaki and never called me back, that was a month ago. Well I took the advice of people on this forum and others to go to another dealership which I did. The new dealership is actually a lot closer to where I live to so this was a huge win win for me. I went and had a meeting with the manager of their service department, lead mechanic, and service coordinator. I told them all about my problems and they all told me that warranty work takes president over all other work and that within two weeks they would either have my unit fixed or a date of when I would expect the parts arrive and a time when it would be repaired. Well they are a company of their word because at the end of two weeks the service manager called me and told me that they called Kawasaki and all my issues including the windshield wiper, clutch, steering, doors, would be completely replaced under warranty. He told me that some parts may take a while as Kawasaki has recognized all the problems and is now addressing them so there will be a flood of orders. I’m happy now and as long as it’s fixed by November, when deer season starts I’m a happy camper. Kawasaki is a manufacturer of their word and one reason why I choose them when I bought this Ridge, a three year warranty, and a company that stands behind their word. A big shout out to the Service Department of Richmond Equipment in Richmond, Texas, Thank you for helping me and Thank you Kawasaki for standing by your warranty. I was very upset and very stressed out by the time I found Richmond Equipment and they are taking care of me…Thank you!
