Fuel mileage

I have a ‘25 Ridge Crew limited. I’m only getting around 4 miles to the gallon. I called Kawasaki and they just shrugged their shoulders and said take it to a dealer. Well, I’ve called several deals and finally found one that said that’s a normal MPG according to Kawasaki. I’m really confused, how is anyone supposed to ride a trail system over several hundred miles? You can’t carry enough fuel. I only have a few hundred miles on the machine and had a trip planned for Colorado this fall but I have to cancel because I literally won’t be able to carry the fuel needed for the trip. Is a normal MPG for majority of you guys? Just curious if I have a problem or if it the norm.

I have the same machine, fuel milage sucks! No idea on how to improve it.

It gets better after some miles and not using a/c all the time. I can get 12 or so if I keep foot out of it

I would be happy if I could get 12mpg. Do you have the crew or the 2 door?

I just finished the 120 mile break in period and only used 1 tank of gas, so I’m thinking around 10mpg. And, that was at RPM below 3000. I expect for my use it will continue around 10mpg since I primarily use it for hunting. I drive forest service and old logging roads. Can’t really go more than around 10-15 mph up in the mountains.
