Just wondering if someone could post a pic of the roof inside without a head liner. Would like to see what is under the liner to mount speakers to. I am getting an XR next week and because of the headliner on it don't know what is under there. THANKS

I don't think anyone has removed the headliner yet. Please keep us posted what you find out when you get yours. What speakers are you thinking about getting?

Yea got my xr Tuesday tried to put 6.5 speakers in the roof behind the seat wouldn't fit..to big and to deep. So I ordered some 6 inch low profile on amazon will try them next week. I JUST bought boss system on amazon so I don't even know if I can get it to fit.am thinking of putting it in the spot for the garmin display.will have to waitt and see if it works out

I just got my Ridge XR 2 seater today (9-25-2025). I have ordered a bunch of stereo equipment and will share pics and how it works or fails as I begin the project. Got it all on Amazon
All the equipment is Marine Grade (Waterproof)

CAR PLAY Screen $119 which will give me full Apple Car Play (Android too) Seems cool. I will share info if it works out.

I am excited to begin the install and will share the trials, tribulations, and photos along the way. If I find a way to add additional speakers (if necessary) I will share that too. I think the 2 6.5" speakers might be enough.

Where the stereo will install is very shallow. Will have to “build out” to make it fit.

This Boss Marine Stereo is about 3" deep behind screen and there is zero space for that behind the center "stereo area". So, I found a metal "no trespassing" sign which was the perfect size. Cut a hole in the center. Used some 2x4 scraps to back the stereo mount. Thus, building out space. But, the hole centered in the opening was still not deep enough. By elongating the hole deeper and cutting more of the plastic behind it, I believe it is going to fit.
I sanded the back of the sign and sprayed it with black plastic dip spray.

This is the 8” Woofer which is self powered. It will go under the passenger seat.
I put a $ bill by it to show its size.
It was only $134 from Amazon.
